Hello Fellow Cyclists,

Well it was a cool ride — low 50s at the start — but a beautiful, crisp day for a ride on the Island.  We had a big group, probably the biggest group since the summer heat arrived — 21 riders.  We welcomed back lots of snow birds (Mike, Peter, Kathleen, Annie, Allen) who might have wondered about their Florida reception which lacked the warmth they anticipated.

I’m pleased to report (in this Ride Report) that we had no flats, mechanicals, or falls — at least that I heard about when we stopped at the Dog Park.  So, I once again congratulate the group for their safe riding and the care they are demonstrating.

I will be leading tomorrow’s Joe's Friday Special ride starting at 9am at SuperCorsa Cycles.  The temps at start time should be right around 50 degrees, so dress warmly (and those who wish to celebrate the day with a costume, feel free).  I imagine there will be a BrainTrust gathering at V’s Pizza at 2pm, but one of the regulars needs to weigh in and confirm the time and place.
