Amelia Island Main Beach Ride Report, June 20, 2026, more photos!

As the sun rose higher in the sky, the air temperature also rose, and it was 90+ degrees by the time I got back to Main Beach, the parking lot packed with beach-goers.  There was also another swim meet going on at the Rec Center, so people here know what to do in the heat...tomorrow being the first official day of summer.  Does that mean the days will start getting shorter?  

"That lucky old sun has nothing to do but roll around heaven all day."
