In Amelet-HDF, plane wave magnitude is given by the magnitude of the electric field.

As for spherical wave, the electric field can be used but with another parameter : the distance from the origin.
To bypass this constraint, Amelet-HDF could impose the use of the power to describe a spherical wave magnitude :

Here would be an example :

data.h5
`-- electromagneticSource
    `-- spherical
        `-- $a_spherical_wave(@xo=0.0 @yo=0.0 @zo=0.0)
            `-- magnitude[@physicalNature=power]

As usual, if Amelet-HDF imposes POWER use in spherical wave magnitude definition, there is no need to test the value of @physicalNature in instance.

What do think about it ?

Cyril.

Dear Cyril,

We think the new definition you propose is better than adding the
distance from the origin of the source in the parameters list.
We agree with this new definition of a spherical source.

It 's ok for the next Amelet-HDF release.
