Hi all,

I've just started writing an AMEE gem for Ruby, available from GitHub:
http://github.com/Floppy/amee-ruby

It's still in a very early incarnation, but more will be forthcoming
soon. At the moment it can authenticate, and parse DataCategory nodes.
DataItems and DataItemValues will be following after a RESTful (no,
wait, I mean restful) week on the Isle of Wight :)

cheers,
James Smith

Hi all,

I've just pushed a load of updates to the AMEE ruby gem I started a
couple of weeks ago. It can now view DataCategories, DataItems, and
DataItemValues. There is example code for working with categories and
items. This should be enough for simple AMEE clients which only grab
data from the service and don't store any.

One quite fun thing that the latest version (0.1.1) has in it an
interactive AMEE shell (for the data side at least). You can run
'ameesh', providing your authentication details, and then use commands
like ls, pwd, and cd to change category, and cat to look at data
items. Not the most useful method of using AMEE, I admit, but quite a
nice little toy :)

cheers,
