Overview

Intended for those who have limited sea kayaking experience or want a refresher. This fast paced session will cover essential strokes, rescues, navigation, tides, and paddling near and across boating channels. It will take place in Hingham Harbor and will include paddling around some of the Harbor Islands. Basic kayaking skills are required, including the ability to confidently wet exit with a spray skirt. Expect a full day of instruction, training, and paddling. A 15 foot (minimum) kayak with fore and aft bulkheads, spray skirt, and PFD, are required.
