Join us for a pool session to keep your skills sharp over the winter. Whether you are interested in rolling, rescues (self & assisted), bracing, strokes and maneuvers, the pool at the Watertown Boys and Girls Club is a great place to learn and to refine your skills.A limit of 5 people can take advantage of this terrific opportunity.
ACA Level 3 and Level 4 Certified Instructors will run the session.
Why: Winter practice helps paddlers identify strengths and weaknesses – whether rolling, bracing, rescues (self & other) or working on strokes – and the opportunity to get back in warm (80 degree) water to work on improving efficiency.
We have exclusive access to the pool for 2 hours for this session plus 1/2 hour on either end to move boats and equipment.
If you plan on bringing your own boat, the boat must be clean and free of dirt and debris, inside and out.
A limited number of rental boats are available. Please specify when you register if you will need a boat, pfd or paddle. An equipment charge of $25 is a separate charge.
Please plan on showing up 1/2 hour before the event to help unload boats!!
The cost is $125/person (in advance) for a single session for the pool with instruction. Use PayPal (friends & family). Reservation is not complete until payment is received.
