Maps that exploit game glitches such as grenade boosting, flying, etc actually sound like a lot of fun. With the little knowledge I have of hammer, I might try to make a few in the style of bhop or kz maps.
ive never seen the old source engine, but i would assume it has the old glitches on it before it got patched or whatever.
i actually tried to NPC-teleport barney in the point insertion map one time, but the game forced the prop i held to let go of it when i put it in front of him or on his head.

Bhop (bunny hop) - is a skill to jump faster in FPS and simulation games. It is simply parkour with air strafes. Turn left and right (strafing) while jumping to get more speed and finish maps faster than other bhoppers.
Avoid falling and obstacles as they can slow your hopping down. Checkpoints will help your parkour run to finish 3d maps easily. Big maps are full of hard bhop jumping parts. Hey! I just Wanted to know what happened to the game? you stopped updating and stuff. I really enjoy playing this when I have time in random places. Some things I think you could add are a button to pause or something so I could go back to the levels. And on top of that a restart button because I like to see the fastest time I can get so having to refresh all the time can get annoying. So I think that adding this would be very useful for me and probably lots of other people. Thank you for your work :)
There is also many unoptimised and just generally bad code from a performance viewpoint - this is also relating to the 50 event restriction. Did you know folders counts as an event? This is why in the source code of the game where I wanted to put a folder, I would put a comment instead.
I'm planning to release a final version for bhop that is fully open source under the permissive GPLv3 license - as such somebody can continue this project if they wanted to. There will be notes inside as well with things which I wanted but could not do.
The current build contains many bugs I have yet to fix. With the school term in full swing, and my quickly-fading motivation to work on this game (and to just use Construct in general), this version may never be fixed. If it doesn't, I will (hopefully) release the source code on the last day of July, so that somebody may be able to fix it up.
I have been working on a massive update for Christmas that will hopefully be on time. Unfortunately, problems with saving and Construct 3's free license is very restrictive, along with my focus on bhop moving along to schoolwork.
