Dear friends and family,
Just wanted to let you know about the arrival of our sweet little princess Emma. We are both well and at home, even though we had a little scare. Emma was born a month and a half early, we had to have an emergency c-section because I had to have my appendix removed, and that surgery caused me to start into preeclampsia. We held on for 6 days after the surgery in the hospital until it was no longer safe for Emma to hang out in my belly anymore, so we had to take her out. She was in the NICU for only four days and was released to come home with me this past Saturday. She is the toughest little princess I have ever seen! We definetly feel the hand of God protecting us through this hard time, and we are grateful for al lthe prayers on our behalf.
