Expedition Think: Kayaking Destinations Around the Globe
Join Greg Paquin, Sea kayak Coach & Guide and founder of Kayak
Waveology, as he presents an adventure discussion & slideshow on how to gather the required personal and seamanship skills and know-how for short and long journeys in our personnel paddle craft, and then live it. The slideshow will present various kayaking locations from Northern New England, to the Canadian Maritimes where the sea moves with a purpose, then to the British Islands of the UK where the Irish Sea moves up to 6 knots or more with no forgiveness, the Pacific North West for a little more remoteness, the Bold Coast USA, US Pacific North West, Canadian Maritimes, North Wales, Isle of Man, Scotland, Outter Hebrides, and Costa Brava Spain.

Or do you find yourself saying, "but I neeeed this”, when packing extra sets of nearly everything in your backpack? Join Julie LePage and Philip Werner as they offer tips on overcoming the obstacles to hiking lighter, what the tradeoffs are to carrying less, and guidance on packing lighter & smarter, so you can enjoy your time in the woods even more. We’ll have a well-stocked auditorium of lightweight gear for show & tell & touch, as well as resources on "MacGyvering" your own lightweight items
for less.
