Backcountry Ski Enthusiasts,

You've been dreaming about it ever since last spring- the long awaited ski season is finally on our doorsteps! Winter has arrived with snow and the release of the 2024-25 backcountry ski calendar (attached). To find out more and register for trips, please visit our NH Ski Committee Website. Check in often throughout the ski season because more trips from the calendar will be posted or updated here. Also note, this website is getting a serious facelift in Jan so don't be alarmed if it looks much different. If you have any questions, feel free to contact specific trip leaders or the ski committee co-chairs.

I also wanted to introduce myself because you'll be getting future emails from me and other co-chairs (listed below). This is my first year as a co-chair, but I've been skiing with this group since 2018 across New England and even Canada. I'm co-leading 4 trips this season across NH-ME-VT and I'm a regular in the NH backcountry (pictured below in my patented sunglass-hat look).

Winter is here early! Here's the NH AMC Ski calendar (attached), pdf version. Thanks for the reminder Jason! We'll get this up on our website soon, which may look a little different because it got updated this off-season. 

Please note the attached pdf calendar is static but our trips are subject to change by the leaders due to snow conditions, weather, etc. I recommend using this as a quick guide, then going to the AMC Outdoor connector (filter by skiing and NH Chapter) for up-to-date info and to register for trips. We already have a handful of trips on there, and open for registration with more to come
