Hey guys,

Kristie and I were talking about possibly doing a climbing trip to Acadia.  Anyone else interested and if so, any date/time preference?

p.s. my parents live in Bangor and I routinely bring groups there to stay as a basecamp for Maine adventures, it's about an hour from Acadia so if campsites are all booked up near Acadia (as might be the case) then my parents house is always an option.  Keep me posted.

Hi guys,

Yes a climbing trip to Arcadia sounds great!  I put together a doodle pool to help us schedule which dates work best (http://www.doodle.com/shqap366i4m5g6q7), so if people can fill that out I think that will be the easiest way to find a weekend that works for everyone (I only listed Saturdays on the poll, but obviously the intent is to climb all weekend).  Looking forward to it!

So far, it looks like people's availability is a little spread out.  There are a few of us who can do July 4th weekend so one thought is that we can join Kristie's group (thanks for the invitation, Kristie...I would love to get some hiking in, too) and then plan another climbing only weekend for August 10th or 17th?  Also, I have a friend who has a house in Acadia so I can see if that's available.
