Acadia, mid-week climbing and kayaking

Hey, everyone.

It's been awhile since anyone posted something so I think it's time to resurrect this group.  

First, several of us went to Acadia for July 4th weekend for some climbing and hiking.  It was wonderful.  There's another group lined up for August 17th.  I don't think I'll be able to make it but am happy to help organize it still.  Here's the link again to Ethan's doodle poll: http://www.doodle.com/shqap366i4m5g6q7

Second, the weather next week is supposed to be in the 70s and sunny!  Anyone up for some mid-week climbing at Quincy Quarries?

Third, a few of us got thwarted when we tried to go kayaking in Acadia.  There's some good sea kayaking in Mass, though, and I'll probably rent a kayak in a few weeks if anyone wants to join me.

Thanks for sending this out. I'd be up for climbing on Wed next week at QQ. I've also added a  doodle poll for Sept & Oct weekends. I'd really like to go to the Gunks, but would need someone to lead, as I only second. But, we could do a trip somewhere else too, if that works out better.

Definitely up for some mid-week QQ climbing, yeah!. Anybody also interested in going there on Sunday? Looks like 80F and dry; the day before will have had thunderstorms, so maybe an afternoon QQ climb so that the rock is dry.

And yes, also very interested in going to Acadia in August.

I'd love to join you at QQ, but I'd have to figure out a way to get there.
Might just end up climbing at Metro or BKB next week.

But I'm definitely up for another Acadia trip in Aug--and for joining you in kayaking!

Also, would anyone be interested in a trip to Farley Ledge in central/westernish MA this Sunday?

It's about 1.5-2 hours from Boston, and supposed to be up there with Rumney and the Gunks for great climbing

Hey guys,

For climbing next week, Sally suggested Mon or Tues and Ellen suggested Wed.  I can't do Monday but could do Tues or Wed.  Any thoughts, Ralf or Kristie?  Also, I can give you a ride, Kristie.

Also, kayaking on August 4th or 10th...

Will unfortunately not be able to climb this Sunday; I'm committed to a race that day.
