Ambuda has just published its 300th text. This seems like a nice occasion to reflect on where Ambuda is now and where it's going.

What does the library look like? -- We have 160 stotras, 79 upanishads, and the rest are a mix of various genres.

Why stotras? -- I wanted to greatly expand the library and stress test our workflows. Stotras are both numerous and small, so it's easy to add a bunch of them.

What changes did you make as a result? -- There are a few. Some that come to mind:
(1) the text list became too large for the main page, so we moved it to /texts and updated the main page to show categories.
(2) the list was cumbersome to navigate, so we added a nice search-by-title feature.
(3) category lists were too large, so we built out our taxonomy so that we could model categories and sub-categories.
(4) Per-category search was limited for some applications, so we added catalog search.
(5) Proofed projects became hard to manage, so we greatly improved the search experience there.

What's next? -- We'll continue to add as many texts as we can, aiming for 500 texts by June. We'll add stotras here and there, but they won't be our primary focus.

The kathasaritsagara would be a great addition, all 22k verses.
