Purpose

This list is for ongoing or high-level discussion about Ambuda. Topics include design and engineering questions, community policies, legal structures and financing, and our overall process.

In comparison, our Discord server is for conversation, quick discussion, and adhoc syncs about the project.

When in doubt, use Discord as a starting point. We can always move discussion to the list for wider distribution and a more deliberate approach.

Content

All discussion should be related to Ambuda. For broader discussion, see lists like sanskrit-programmers, samskrita, or bvparishat.

Please post in either Sanskrit or English.

Community

In general, be kind and inclusive. Ambuda is about making Sanskrit radically accessible, and I want our community to follow the same principle when engaging with others.

But, please be direct and candid as well. What I care about most is that Ambuda succeeds, and I think we can increase the rate of success if we have clear communication about what's going well and what needs more work.

These guidelines aren't set in stone. They're just my view on the matter, and we can always change them based on our changing preferences and project needs.
