Our previous update used the wrong month name, which we'll correct going forward.
We're continuing work on Ambuda against our
Q3 plan. Here's what we did this month.
Major updates
We added just 3 texts this month, bringing us to a total of 18 texts. Why so few? Much of this month was spent on building our technical and team foundations.
A total of 10 people have made technical contributions to Ambuda, and likewise at least 10 for our proofing work. (Our current tools make it difficult to get an exact count, but we'll have one ready in our next update.) Users have created a total of 49 proofing projects.
We've also received a total of $525 in donations. 100% of the donations we receive go toward direct project costs like web hosting and automated transcription (OCR).
Now that our foundations are more solid, we can return to adding more texts to the library. While 108 texts now seems like an unlikely target, I think we're in a good position to move faster and add more content to Ambuda.
