नमो वः,

November was a slower month for us due to outside commitments, but this slowdown was within our expectations. We continue to execute against our Q4 plan.

Strategically, our core team is thinking about 2023. The base of our project is becoming more solid, and I think we will grow rapidly after the new year.

I'll share more details when the time is right, but the two main themes for us in 2023 are fundraising and community.

For fundraising, we've made some initial experimens with hiring paid proofreaders, and the results have been very promising. Suhas continues to do a wonderful job in leading our proofing work and sourcing new texts to transcribe. We are all excited at the potential of scaling this effort in the future.

For community, we want to make Ambuda more accessible for contributors of all kinds. Kishore has been doing wonderful work on building out our infrastructure and making it easier for new engineers to make changes with confidence.

Meanwhile, I have been focusing on our Vidyut engine, which I hope will become a standard toolkit for all Sanskrit projects going forward. I've been working on a word generator that I think will substantially improve our overall tooling, and I'll share the code and results publicly before the end of the year.

As a reminder, we have expanded our donation options and have made it easier to sponsor a book directly. A financial gift is the easiest way to support our work and help Ambuda grow. But there are many ways to contribute if you have the time and energy.

If our work is valuable to you, please get involved however you can. And if you don't know where to get started, please contact me directly.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to updating you at the end of the year.

Arun Prasad
