streaming AAC 5.1 on windows

Those of you on the ambisonia list will have already seen a message
... ambisonia.com's successor is in test mode, and can be accessed

I've had some users who have reported difficulty getting 5.1 output
from Quicktime on windows... and I'm wondering if anyone here can
successfully get 5.1 output from windows sound cards? I need to add
documentation for how to best do this (and perhaps even a windows
soundcard matrix).

click on "Click to Play (via sound card)"... to get the AAC stream.

Any reports would be greatly appreciated.
