Ambigram Challenge I

Hey ...Lets make an ambigram!..

Since it could be first time for many of us, lets not aim at a specific word....pick any word you like....dont go for difficult ones if its ur first time...choose an obvious word...
First make a general design....map letters and then manipulate curves to get the basic frame...then style it..
if you get stuck, its okay...
Post it here....no matter whether u have completed it or not....jus put it here...we will discuss....u may get some awesome inputs from others...
If we have enuf entries...we can have a poll among ourselves..

That reminds me of the time of my first year ED classes..

I used to make ambigrams on the tables of IC 3 (due to lack of any notebook being carried)

Very neat base i should say....its a very legible design....
now style it.....give it a 'uniform' if i may use the word

work on making letters equally legible....
give ur 'S' a better feel of 'A'....
another important thing would be positioning and spacing...
try and make 'amruta'....or pick a word that has some kind of comfort...

@gyani - The ambigram as a whole looks whole, it doesnt seem fragmented (a mix of inverted letters without any harmony)..

May be since it is made on photoshop and not by hand, it has lost that charm.
and of course, tried to get the inverted letters first :)

well, Its not an exact symmetry coz didnt do it on photoshop....the 'l' in the middle is a bit italicised.....lack of perfection

by the way....
shashwat's post bring to my mind an important thing...
for those who are trying for the first time and starting with 'palash'....my advice would be to choose a different word. coz its a bit unfriendly with respect to an ambigram....

Very widely used for more than imaginable purposes by designers, artists, photographers :)
