I know it’s not the food that you are interested in (I am), here is another opportunity to meet other families in a casual setting where we can exchange our thoughts and feelings. Of course a chance for the children to run around before the new school year begins too. L

Dear Members,
After the cancellation of the Chinese Support Group summer picnic in June due to rainy weather, we have finally confirmed a date for this annual event.
The details are as follows:
Date – August 19th, 2007 Sunday
Time – 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Venue – South Arm Park in Richmond
Every family will bring own food, and we’ll have some members to go early to secure some tables. If you need instructions for the location, please ask our liaison members who will be contacting members shortly to announce the event.
I’ll also bring a small BBQ stove and if anyone would like to BBQ can just bring the food.
There’s no need to register for the event, just show up if you’re available. It’ll be a great event to meet other families.
