RCD Creative Arts Club
Objective
The RCD offers a creative Arts & Crafts workshop, as part of our
Recreation Program, to help participants improving their learning
potential, socializing skills, and developing their artistic talents.
There will be 8 sessions provided for spring, fall and winter term.
For summer, we shall run a special boot camp for one week.
Workshop Schedule for 2008
1. Spring: May 5 – June 30, 2008 (see below for details)
2. Summer Camp: 2nd or 3rd week of July, 2008 (exact dates to be
determined)
3. Fall: September – November, 2008 (exact dates to be determined)
4. Winter: January – February, 2009 (exacted dates to be determined)
Time: Monday, 10:00-11:30 A.M.
Material Fee: All materials are included – $3.00 drop-in per session
or $20.00 per term.

May 5: Pop-Up cards
Mother’s day is coming soon. Let’s prepare a special card to express
our gratitude.
May 12: Cut-Out Cards (flowers)
Have you ever made the flowers by paper? It’s great to present hand-
made flowers to your love ones.
May 19: Victoria Day
(No class)
May 26: Bird Feeders
Let’s make a bird feeder in your garden or by the window. The wild
birds will then come to visit you often.
June 2: Dragon Boat
Have you heard about Chinese’s Dragon Boat holiday? Let’s find out by
making a dragon boat.
June 9: Animal Pegs
What’s your favourite animal? Think of one or two and decorate the
pegs to hold your every little note.
June 16: Bookmarks
Do you enjoy reading? A bookmark will always come in handy when you
need to mark the pages.
June 23: Tablemates
A creative tablemate would always add much fun to your meal time.
June 30: Gift Boxes
It’s our last session for the Spring season. Let’s make a gift box for
our love ones.
Space is limited; please register to secure a place for the whole
term. Drop-in is subject to availability of space and material.
