In the past I have posted prayer request for my friend Dana. Yesterday
I called her from work to see how she is doing. I was informed Revenue
Canada has taken over her son's houses, taken about a $1,000 from his
Bank account and has garnisheed 50% of his wages. Dana could very
easily be next and she stands to loose hundreds of thousands of
dollars in properties this includes very likely loosing her own house.
All this goes back to the bad business deals her late husband made.
Unknowing to her he made so many bad deals that would abd does
threaten her very livli hood. Dana is also suffering from a lot of
physical health problems and is unable to get the proper, necessary
medications. Also it appears her own lawyer is threatening to come
after her and her family for outstanding debts. Yet Dana has in spite
of everything always paid her bills. I received an e-mail from her and
she is very discouraged. Her once strong faith in God is starting to
tremble, she is on the "edge" I believe of a breakdown. Yet in spite
of all this Dana hangs on to her faith in God if only by a thread at
times. Again, this morning she emailed me and is very, very
discouraged . She has always tried to do what is spiritually, legally
and morally right. Dana has been my source of encouragement
spiritually so often. When I have felt low she has been there to
encourage me, to support me. Personally, I feel very frustrated
because there is little I can do to help her. PLEASE, PLEASE pray for
Dana that her faith in God will remain strong, that she not give up on
God. Please pray God's will be done in this business of hers and that
her tenants will adhere to their responsibilty and pay their rents as
this is her only income. She is now doing cleaning jobs in privite
homes, working in a warehouse just to help her make ends meet. Her
five children (all grown) are of very little or no help, they are more
concerned about what they want then to help their mother, to be
supportive of her. I wish I could give more explicit details but
cannot do so without breaking confidentiality. Thank you for your time
