  Hi Guys,
few days back one of my friends here in USA [who is also from
Ambajogai]  Amit V Kulkarni and I were thinking of donating a
system to the Yogeshwari Vidyalaya. The system would have a
computer, internet and an over-head projector. The internet will be
taken care of by the library department.
Any teacher can use the internet and the material available on
internet to explain the things better and increase the interest of
the students. Lets give them an opprtunity to experience the
things that we could not.
I know of 3 students who will be ready to pay rs.10000 including
myself. And at least 10 others who will be donating 2000 each.
PLease see if you gys like the idea.
Another thing that happened was a tragic accident that took
Deshpande madam away from us- I think we can donate such a
system to the school in her memory.
It will make sense to keep the names of the donating people
secret.
THe only problem is that I and AMit Kulkarni are in the US and
somebody in India and Ambajogai needs to look after the thing-
like arranging for the remaining funds and getting the machinery
installed. We can make provisions for the internet bills through a
fund in a bank with some trusties on it.
Guys lets do it !!!!!!

I really appreciate the idea.

 

I am ready to take the responsibility of getting the funds arranged and arranging the machinery.

 

I think at both the places we have PCs with good configurations.

 

What we can do, arrange internet facility  and the LCD Projector for the Demo purpose as per the idea .

 

Also i will take care of the availability of the things as early as possible.

 

I think we must agree on a date on which many of us can make them available and gather at AMBAJOGAI. At that time we will hand it over to the School and College authorities.

 

Please select some ideas apart from this too so that we will try our best to execute them successfully.

 

 

At last one bad news :-

Mr. Bhalchandra Motegaonkar passed away on 21/08/2005.

Ambajogai is going to be a shoddier place with his sudden departure.

Motegaonkar sir's memory will never be forgotten because he had the spirit of teaching in him.

His blissful teaching was one of the most significant things that happened to us in our careers.
I want to send my heartfelt sympathy to his family. 
 

Regarding the idea by Mr. Avinash which is very noble, Anand plz consider the contribution of amount Rs.2000 from my side. Hope we would make it happen soon.

 

I'll be in Ambajogai somewhere by the end of oct. <for Diwali>.

  Hi Guys,
thanks for supporting the idea.
If Anand is wiling to take the responsibility [which in itself a
commendable thing], I and Amit can send a check or bank
transfer to his account from here. I can have my friends in India
send checks to him by post.  If all of us can do that- the idea can
be materialised soon.
Anand can you please contact Mr. Yogesh Surwase- now he is a
teacher in Yogeshwari Vidyalaya - he is the son of Surwase sir
who used to teach sciences in school- he can also get some
people to shell money out of their pockets. I have talked to him
about this.
I think it would take some time, which is not necessary, to wait for
all people to gather in Ambajogai. Everybody will be happy to see
the thing is being used soon.
For us to transfer money from here Anand needs to have an
account in the ICICI bank. If he does not have one, we can
arrange the money to reach him within 10 days through
somebody else.
