Junior Java Developer - requirement

Hello Groupies,

We have an immediate opening for Junior Java Developer with experience of Linux Platform to join our growing team of Big Data developers. You will be responsible for Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from design to testing and implementation. We are looking for people who are committed, flexible and with right attitude to be part of an innovative organization.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Mandatory Skills:
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 1-3 years of experience in Java development with hands on Software Dev experience
• Hands on experience in developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Experience in Linux platform
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Exposure to Big Data OR Hadoop, HBase will be added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL will be added advantage.
• Experience with test-driven development

• Good written and verbal communication skills (including ability to listen)
