Job Description
PubMatic is hiring a senior algorithms engineer who can analyze
terabytes of data and billions of rows to discover correlations and
patterns that empowers PubMatic Optimization Technology. Typical
candidates for this role would have developed data mining algorithms
using huge datasets and also built large scale data
processing/analytics systems incorporating them. This is a fairly
hands-on role for someone who has dealt with large amounts of sparse
data and who would enjoy working with a team of very smart engineers.
Job Functions
· Develop extensible, scalable, reliable software for high volume,
real-time data processing and ad serving.
· Research and implement data mining and machine learning algorithms
using grid computing and affect the product direction.
· Provide project leadership to the team, in terms of communication,
project follow-ups, project schedule,etc.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
· BS / MS in computer science/mathematics/ related fields (preferably

You will work as a key member of the Client Services team to provide
support in the day-to-day management of publisher clients and ad
network partners. Responsibilities will include managing ad network
account setup, ad network applications, traffic (run) campaigns and
creatives, generate and interpret reporting that will yield
competitive insights for our clients and partners. You will work
closely with clients to understand their goals and deliver on their
online ad inventory performance. Experience dealing with customers via
phone/email/in-person is a must.
Qualifications
• Should have a technical qualification at the graduation
• Must be willing to work in the night shifts
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Significant exposure to data management or reporting or handling of
spreadsheets with large datasets
• Preferably handled transition of processes from US / UK to India
• Experience of 1-2 years with online advertising, must really know
internet business and media pricing models (media sales or agency
media buying experience a plus)
• Should be able to grasp the PubMatic business model after going
through the site
• Minimum of 18 months experience in either a BPO/KPO handling
specialist functions (avoid associate roles unless exceptional),
corporate MIS environment or Online Media industry
• Experience in programming and MySQL environments is a plus
• People handling experience (on paper) is a plus
• Self-starter – ability to see a need and fulfill it without being
asked to do so
