Nice to know your good objectives. I am very sorry that I could not remain present for the meeting. It must have been a really good gala.
Anand, I have a few further doubts however.
Have we decided what the proposed NGO would work for? This is very important to ensure some fruitful activity. Otherwise it will be a fruitless hype and hoopla in long run.
Other thing is that we should go one step at a time i.e. we should take small steps in the beginning. Through this we will be able to judge ourselves as to how much devotion each one can do.
What I feel about NGO is let's do not hurry. It was only a first meeting man. The members might not be even knowing each other properly. It may happen that in the end only 12 body members are left alone to the work and nobody else turns up. Also, a legal platform is not necessary to do something. Registering our group as an NGO will be required only if we plan to acquire some funds from other charity bodies (like Gates Foundation). I don't think that's the idea of our group, at least in near future.
My suggestion is let's at least meet continuously and consistently for some months to come. Let the ideas evolve, let a cohesive group form and then if we feel it feasible, we will go about doing social work on a regular basis. Till then we can organize some visits to villages, meet some other NGO's working for different purposes so that we can assess where we can contribute the best.
If you have already thought about all these points in the meeting, then well and good. I will be with all you fellow Ambajogaians.
Get together in Ambajogai is really an exciting idea.

least and im really excited to know abt our group from my friend Ganesh
Kulkarni followed by email invitation to join.
Currently im working in Mumbai in a German Co. and definitely will be
there for the get together.
Don't know much about the activities you are planning but can guess
that its really in possitive spirit.....!
