Mostly schools drop outs or village students come for DBRT. If anyone want to take one year vocational education and start his/her own business because of interest or family condition is also welcome. Fees is Rs. 20000/yr including mess+hostel+course. SC, ST, NT, Girls will get partial fee concession. DBRT is approved by National Institute of Open Schooling, Delhi.

Vigyan ashram is pleased to announce opening of admission for “Diploma in Basic Rural Technology” (Batch 2012-13). This course is recognized by National Institute of Open Schooling and useful for school dropouts. This is a multiskill program in which training is given in the area of :
Engineering (Fabrication & construction)

DBRT 2012-13
1. Admission for DBRT will start from 15th April 2012
2. Min qualification : 8th std pass, willing to work by hand, preferably from rural area’s.
3. Fees : Rs.8000/-
4. Hostel facility available.
5. Food bill for kitchen is Rs.750 /-pm.It includes breakfast – 1 no (with milk), lunch ( bhakari,/chapati rice and, sabji), Dinner ( 4 chapati, rice, dal, subji,curd), Total food bill for the year : Rs.9000/-
6.Hostel charges : Rs.250/- pm i.e Rs.3000/- per year.
7. Limited loan scholarships are available for deserving students. Students are expected to repay back the amount after completion of course.
8. Course Duration : 10th July – 25th June
9. Students are expected to observe discipline. Morning Prayer, exercise, meditation, English
discussion are compulsory. Students failing to attend may be fined.
10. Medium of communication : Marathi / Hindi / English ., working by hand
