Today (June 1 in India) was the first day of the MahaKumbhabhishekam of the Pudukkottai Bhuvaneshvari Temple.. If you or your family/friends/relatives are able to attend and obtain the blessings of Jaganamata Bhuvaneshvari over the next 4 days (June 5 - shukla paksha dashami is the janma nakshatram of Pudukkottai Judge Swamigal)

namaste Sridhar,

Thanks for posting the information about Śrī Bhuvaneśvarī Pīṭha Svarṇabandhana Mahā Kumbhābhiṣekam. Our Austin Hindu Temple completed the Pushkara Kumbhābhishekam (after completing 12 years) today.  It is an amazing temple on situated on a sprawling 75+ acres of land. I love this place. The three main deities are Śrī Vishvanātha (and his parivāra devatās), Śrī Rājarājeswari Devi, and Lord Venkateshvara (and his parivāra devātas). Before the garbhagṛham of these deities, there is small chamber we call it antarālaya and that places you can sit quite close to vighraham. It is amazing to sit there quietly. Even on a busy day as today, since the activities were happening at the yagashala, I manage to find 30+ minutes alone time in the main temple.  On the way back, my mind was on ambaa-l and how to revive it.
