True case sharing - many toastermasters
have achieved CC, even AC titles, yet still are
struggling between "sex" and "six", "bill" and
"bell", "smell' and "smile"... It is widely
accepted that in toatermasters clubs, we are
learning and trained all the technicalities about
public speaking, but rarely, as second language
users, can we get effective trainings on the basis
- pronunciation, grammar and ect from the clubs.
That's why this Friday night, Amazing Friday will
have a professional trainer David
LIU to tell you the secret of how to
speak like an American.
Born in Taiwan, raised
in Singapore and Malaysia and then studied in
America, now a Canadian, David is a real expert in
both Western and Eastern cultures. With 13 years
Business English and soft-skill consulting and
training experience with in-depth focus on Chinese
trainee pedagogy, David will share with us the
most common problems Chinese speakers may
encounter in English pronunciation and means of
improvement. |

Less is more. Vincent's speech will tell us
that we should focus on the things that value the
most and stick to it everyday.

Chelsi
was also afraid to attend any wedding after her
