The goals of the Innovative Teaching and Learning Committee are to: (1) Identify and examine issues that pertain to effective teaching and learning, distance learning and technology in education as they relate to two-year college mathematics students, faculty, programs and curricula; (2) Facilitate sharing and a network on crucial issues, ideas, and current practices in traditional, hybrid, distance and active learning; (3) Develop criteria for evaluating data, software, and internet resources; (4) Share demonstrably effective ways to implement these resources; and (5) Maintain and update position papers on effective teaching and learning. -- Approved November, 2008; Current Commitee Chair, Fred Feldon
