Hello everyone,

I've been dabbling some more with lower frequency polarimetry and thought I would share some data on an experiment analyzing AM radio carriers.

I decided to do a high frequency analysis of AM radio station carriers knowing that the ionosphere would spread them out some, allowing me to simultaneously detect many stations at once.

I modified my correlator to zoom in carriers from multiple positions on the AM radio dial to look for any scattering of carriers. Some unusual carrier signal Doppler shifts were seen, but I don't know exactly what is happening. The undulating and zig-zagging carriers caught my eye, but they may be due to a station's own reference drifting, instead of being something happening in the ionosphere.
