How difficult would be to switch the bluetooth connection to a wired usd otg?

I would like to start using Amarino on my projects.

The robot I'm building is intended to have a Android cellphone as brain, and an Arduino Uno as nervous system.

Connecting through bluetooth is nice, but considering that the cellphone is intended to be part of the robot, I think it's better if I use a cable.

How difficult would be to switch from between this two type of connections?

PS : Not sure you need Amarino at all here as you can presumably do a direct USB connection and read and write to the UNO?
