LCD of smartphone can be used

Hello, 

 Could i use the of my LCD Smartphone to display some values of the sensors proceced by Arduino. Is just need to a library for Arduino tu interfece the LCD of Smartphone or i need to write some code in java  in  Android aplication to do this  ?

I create a project, time ago. I control a robotic arm with an Android smartphone. The arm robot is connected to arduino uno board, and the communication between The smartphone and arduino board is with bluetooth, i bought the bluesmirf bluetooth board, and shall be connected to Arduino to receive signals from smarthphone.  

To managa the communication, i  used Amarino

Library. So i display the state of the robot in my phone screen
