***** The new issue of the
***** online literary magazine
***** Amarillo Bay
***** is now available.
You can see the fiction, non-fiction, and poetry starting on the Contents page.
***** What's in This Issue?
With this issue we have published over 700 works! To be precise, we've published 712 works (254 fiction, 85 creative nonfiction, 373 poetry) starting with our first issue in 1999. With the publishing history of most magazines being measured in a few years or less, we are justifiably proud of what we have accomplished.
This issue sets the record for the longest title. I'm sure you'll find "If You Touch Me, I'll Kill You"—A Guide to Sleeping and Only Sleeping with Women good reading, along with the three other works of fiction Richard Moseley chose.
Our new creative nonfiction editor, Gretchen Johnson, chose a wonderful work, A Brush with Rebellion, with the enticing opening line "Is that goat eating a tire?"
Katherine Hoerth chose eight poems for this issue with seductive titles such as "Death: A Love Poem" and "Heartbreak Hibiscus". I'm sure you'll enjoy all of the works in this issue!
***** What About Past Issues?
Be sure to check out previous issues at the bottom of the Contents page. There are over 700 works available from the quarterly issues we have published since 1999.
