Greetings from the AMAN West Bengal Network.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the State Legal Services Authority, West Bengal (SLSA WB), for providing us with the opportunity for Phase II of this collaboration, which aims to move beyond awareness-building towards creating a robust and sustainable ecosystem for survivors of domestic violence - supported by a trained legal fraternity and empowered communities.
The initial collaborative programme (February - April to June 2025) jointly conducted by the AMAN Network and SLSA WB successfully covered four districts, including Purulia and Bankura. The programme received overwhelming responses from both participants and the respective District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs).
As discussed with SLSA WB, Phase II of the programme will commence in Bankura and Purulia. As per discussion the logistics and other essential details, including DLSA support, are shared below.
