Dear All,

As you are aware, new criminal laws, including the BNS and related legislation, came into effect in July 2024. Even after a year of their implementation, many of us are still not fully equipped with the changes, and several procedural aspects remain unclear.

To address this, on behalf of the Aman Network Capacity Building team, a session on the new criminal laws is being organised with Adv. Persis Sidhva on 26th August 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Adv. Persis Sidhva is a prominent lawyer with over 10 years of experience working on issues related to women and children. She is currently the Director at RATI NGO. Many of us had the opportunity to hear her insightful session in the last meeting, and this will be a valuable opportunity for those who could not attend earlier.
