AMAN Global Voices for Peace in the Home is a network of 159 organisations and individuals across 20 states in India. It comprises organisations and individuals both in India and abroad, working on the issue of gender based violence and violence against women, particularly domestic violence.
We want to extend our warm invitation to your team to perform a theatre piece at our gathering on 6th December 2025. The program will commence from 1 PM - 5 PM, to foreground the invisible form of Natal Family Violence and mark 20 years of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act (PWDVA), 2005, AMAN West Bengal Network is organising a public awareness titled: “Resistance Through Art: Voices Against Natal Family Violence and Effective Implementation of PWDVA 2005.”
As AMAN Global Voices for Peace in the Home continues to build collective responses to structural violence, we believe theatre plays a crucial role in bringing these realities to the forefront and creating space for reflection, resilience, and connection. Your work aligns deeply with the spirit of the day, and we would be honoured to have you with us.
