Hurry and send in your nominations for the Kamla Bhasin Award for "Driving the World Towards Gender Equality" before 07 June 2022! Kamla Bhasin was a phenomenal woman, and her legacy and contributions to the South Asian Women's Movement will live on for all times to come. She was a strength to many all through her life and she continues to inspire us with her memories. Her support and solidarity to Azad for its work was always a strength to us.  Azad Foundation has conceived the Kamla Bhasin award for “Driving the world towards gender equality”  in the loving memory of our dear Kamla Bhasin, who left this world on 25th Sept. 2021. We are inviting nominations from South Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for 2 award categories.
