Dear Members,
On behalf of the Aman National Working Committee, I would like to share the tentative agenda for the meeting scheduled to be held in Hyderabad from 18th to 20th September, 2025.
The working committee has held a series of meetings in the last couple of months to discuss the meeting agenda and capacity building topics for the upcoming meeting in Hyderabad. The tentative agenda incorporates suggestions that have been shared by many of you at various thematic groups. We have compiled all the suggestions for the capacity building and would like you to propose a topic that you believe would be most relevant for discussion during the annual meeting in Hyderabad.
Please find the link https://forms.gle/CmDrE5iHdjJVAP6s5 to the Google Sheet attached. Kindly vote for the topic you find most relevant for discussion during the meeting. Based on the results, we will select the topic with the highest votes for the capacity building session at the Hyderabad meeting. Any additional topics can be organised later as online capacity building sessions for our members.
Moreover, Anuradha Kapoor, the founder of Swayam and the advisory member of the Aman National Network, has proposed that network members conduct a collective study on violence within natal families. She suggested collecting data to establish that women’s birth homes are one of the sites where they experience gender-based violence (GBV) and are not safe. This compilation of collective data could serve as a powerful advocacy tool to highlight natal family violence as a serious form of domestic violence, holding the State accountable for ensuring women’s (assigned at birth and with gender diversity) safety in their own homes.
We can schedule a time during the two-and-a-half-day meeting to discuss how we can collectively document national family violence at the national level on behalf of Aman Network.
Anuradha has also proposed a few action points for working with community groups, civil society organisations, and state agencies, which we can discuss in person at the meeting. Additionally, she suggested that the network could initiate a long-term campaign to raise awareness about violence in the natal families, targeting both women and the wider community.

Dear Members,
On behalf of the Aman National Working Committee and the National Secretariat, I am happy to announce that we have received an overwhelming response from our member organisations regarding the upcoming annual meeting of the Aman National Network. The meeting is scheduled to take place from 18th to 20th September 2025 in Hyderabad. We have confirmed participation from 65 members across 38 organisations, along with several local organisations and members who have expressed a keen interest in attending and sharing their experiences.
Attached, please find the final programme schedule for the three-day meeting. This schedule is prepared based on your suggested topics. However, we regret to inform you that we could not accommodate all the session requests from members due to time constraints. If time permits in the evenings during the meeting, and if there is interest from members, we can organise the remaining sessions then.
Looking forward to meeting all of you soon in Hyderabad.
Warm Regards,
Seema
