AM201 - Proposed cycling path at Kallang along Towner Rd

We refer to the feedback received from HDB Contractor regarding the drain obstruction at our newly constructed cycling path along Towner Road.

 

It was noted that grout had entered and silted up the drain, likely due to improper casting practices during the extension of the footpath. This resulted in flow obstruction, and PUB has expressed their concern regarding the impact during HDB’s handing over.

 

We would like to stress the importance of proper site management and urge your team to take the necessary preventive measures to ensure such incidents do not recur. Please ensure that all drainage points are adequately protected during concreting or grouting works and that your workers are briefed accordingly.
