As ever, the evening will feature a keynote address, entertainment, unique auction items, dedicated stalls to give you a deeper insight into our projects, tears, a fantastic 3 course meal and a chance to once again make a difference.
Our keynote speaker for this year will be Dame Claire Bertschinger. As you may be aware, Claire has had a long standing connection with international aid and development commencing with relief work in Ethiopia in 1984. Claire has also worked as a nurse with the Red Cross and has assisted efforts across the globe. Claire is currently the patron of The African Children's Education Trust and therefore has passion for many of the project LFT is involved with. Claire will deliver a powerful address at this year's Gala Dinner and will present a unique insight into her story over the last 30+ years. We are sure her story will move you.
We are also excited to host an exciting comedienne, Sadia Azmat. Sadia has performed around the world as well as at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on the BBC and has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious "Funny Woman" award.
Please book early as tickets are limited and remember to bring your friends, neighbours, colleagues and especially those who have not come across the LFT and its work before. Tickets are available on our website www.ladyfatemahtrust.org or from buytickets.at/theladyfatemahcharitabletrust.
Please do not hesitate to contact us on tic...@ladyfatemahtrust.org should you need further information.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 6 June 2015 at 5.30pm. Please note the dress code is Formal Attire/National Dress.
