AIDA64 Extreme has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring either the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.
We've created different AIDA64 editions for different needs. While AIDA64 Extreme fits perfectly into a home environment with all the important features a PC enthusiast would need, it hasn't been designed to perform a detailed audit of a corporate network with hundreds of computers. Click on the button below to compare all AIDA64 versions and find the one that best suits your needs.
The built-in download manager works but it lacks features that full-blown download managers offer. Let's say you download a large file; if the download completes without errors, great, but if you run into any errors (server-side issue, or your internet connection), your browser will simply stop the download with a failed tag next to the filename. There may be no way to resume the download and you've to start it from scratch.
The official page for the program says it can accelerate the download speed by up to 500%. I'm just going to say this here, the only way to increase your internet speed is by getting a better (more expensive) connection and use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi. That being said, when I tried XDM, the speeds were indeed a bit faster than Firefox's (or any other browser's) download manager. For the price of free, it is quite impressive.
Forget the peak speeds, the average speed is what's important. So, does using XDM make a difference? Yes, it is better than the speed that you get from your browser, and if you don't have a download manager I'd definitely recommend XDM. Again, mileage varies and you don't know how beneficial (or not) a download manager is until you gave it a try.
i never use download manager and i am surprised why people think that downloading files with builtin download manager of browsers are impossible!
internet explorer support resume download since version 9, firefox since version 39 and chrome i dont remember the version number.
Note: The criteria for considering an app as a decent download manager for iOS still remains the same as before. The app should primarily be able to download all file types, display download speed, provide resume support for in-progress downloads, etc. It should also allow you to export the downloaded files to other apps, and provide basic support for opening common photo, audio, video & document formats.
Background Downloads: Once a download starts, you may switch to other apps and continue working. The download should continue in the background without interruption. In our experience, background downloads in Safari on iPhone and iPad work much more reliably compared to background downloads on third-party download managers.
Total Downloader is a file and download manager for iOS that satisfies almost all of the criteria to be considered as a decent download manager. Its built-in browser supports universal search and can download any type of file format.
Total also has certain features of a file manager app. It supports the opening of common text, photo, audio, video, documents, and archive formats, also integrating a bunch of cloud services, including Dropbox Google Drive, OneDrive, and WebDAV services. Thus, you can directly sync the downloaded files with your preferred cloud service, and even stream media files from the cloud.
The app could also serve as a file manager, with a built-in document viewer for PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT, HTML, and RTF file formats, ability to extract ZIP and RAR archives, photo viewer, and media player.
