I downloaded code composer studio (offline installer), when I run the install, i get the message " It looks like you're running the installer from within the zip file. Please unzip the package before the installer."
Glad to hear the issue is resolved. I am confused why 7-zip was not working for you however. What version of 7-zip are you using? And when you mentioned that you used "win zip", are you referring to the default windows zip utility or www.winzip.com?
This is the real distinction, things that are not really easily installed or updated without making very specific choices, or even having a full offline installer is just too big to really be reasonable.
In theory you can download and save the installer file on another computer and use the 7-Zip archive manager to extract all the files and folders to an USB stick.Then you can install (copy) these file on the other computer and possibly run the maintenance service installer manually if you are allowed to install this service as it requires administrator permission.
