MAA REFINERY - RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN IN INDONESIA

MAA Refinery was built in 1949 as a simple refinery with a refining capacity not exceeding 25,000 bpd to supply the local market with its needs of gasoline, kerosene and diesel. The refinery is located 45 km to the South of Kuwait City on the Arabian Gulf. It covers a total area of 10,534,000 m2. Following the establishment of KPC and the restructuring of the oil sector, ownership of the refinery was passed from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) which became responsible for the oil refining and gas liquefaction operations in Kuwait.
Now, the company is looking for qualified staff for the following positions:
SN POSITION SALARY JOB DESC REQUIREMENTS
1 Operations Coordinator KD 2100-2760 Plan, Supervises and directs the operation of the units and systems in his assigned section of refinery operations. Participates in planning and scheduling of operations and shutdowns for his unit and coordinates all maintenance and inspection work for the respective units. Coordinates training and followings up programs and progress.
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Egineering or equivalent.
  • 10 years of work experience in refinery operation, process control and associated areas of which atleast 2 years should be in supervisory capacity.
  • Good knowledge of English and Arabic Language.
2 Operating Engineer KD 1470-2070 Assists the concerned section head in the day-to-day functioning enabling him to concentrate on plant trouble shooting, improvement in systems & procedures and other developmental activities. Participates in planning and scheduling of operations, start-up and shutdown of units and co-ordinates all maintenance, process engineering, inspection and safety related work for the assigned units.
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6 years relevant experience.
  • Fluentcy in spoken English and Proficiency in written English.
  • Computer proficiency in Ms. Office (For reports generation, startup/shutdown plans etc.)
3 Assistant Technical Clerical KD 315-460 Perform a variety of routine & specialized clerical activities in the assigned department/division. Maintains/updates files, records, reports, minutes of meetings and documents of routine nature. Operates a variety of office equipment.
  • High School Diploma in Secretarial/Clerical Disciplines.
  • 4 years experience in Technical Clerical work preferably in an Oil Refinery.
4 Maintenance Planning Engineer KD 1470  
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 15 years related experience in Oil and Gas Industries.
  • Fluently in English - written/spoken.
  • Computer proficiency in Ms. Office.
5 Security & Fire Specialist KD 2310 - 3220
Provide expertise on corporate level security risk management & security planning. Provide technical expertise and support for integrated security system project on security elements in on going security systems and upcoming projects. Provide professional specialist support to security organization for operational advice, mentoring, training emergency response and quality assurance functions.
  • Bachelor Degree with professional certification in security from international recognized professional certification bodies.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in security in industrial establishment/critical infrastructure project
  • Fluently in English - written/spoken
6 Security & Fire Engineer KD 1470 - 2070
Provide technical & professional advice in the field of fire & security to protect company property and personnel. Responsibilities include assisting team leader and section heads of security & fire divisions in technical reviews; developing procedures/guidelines/checklists; carrying out periodic fire & security inspection & audits; compliance monitoring, and ensuring that generated recommendations are tracked to closure. Undertake special/non routine assignments/studies/projects as directed.
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/Fire/Industrial Safety Engineering
  • Min. 8 years experience in Security & Fire in a major refinery/petrochemical industry.
  • Fluently in English - written / verbal.
  • Arabic - desirable.
