Academic — university graduate in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
Related Work Experience (type and years) — minimum is five (5) year-experience in a chemical management resources or environment.
Additional Specialized Training — detailed understanding of all relevant operational processes Extensive expertise of chemical treatment functional areas from both operational and technical perspective
Language skills — must have an excellent oral and written communication skill in the English language.
2. JOB SUMMARY
• Provides technical inputs about the production to the Operations Manager / Superintendent.
• Participates and contributes to make sure compliance on documented
procedures, quality plans, standards and codes wherever applicable.
• Monitors critical product characteristics and process parameters suitability within the defined tolerance limits.
• Participates in troubleshoots analysis, process audits and studies to improve the productivity of the plants.
• Analyses production and specific consumption data and collects the reports for management.
• Provides technical support in developing and reviewing of SOP (Standard Operating Conditions).
• Participates in the implementation of safety policy and procedures. 2.8 Participates in the production planning
Responsibility
• Identifies definite requirements and prepares the specific schedules for testing, sampling and analysing plant process equipment. Coordinates with supports groups and participate in its implementation.
• Participates in HAZOP process and other plant operations reviews.
• Participates in the efforts and compliance to documented procedures, quality standards and Responsible Care codes.
• Improves self-knowledge by participating in trade fairs, conferences and seminars.
• Reviews professional documents, vendor information, technical reports and other materials of interests to our process. Provides a summary for section and company use.
• Makes round of the plant and takes note of the process parameters, housekeeping and safety conditions. Deliver suggestions on ways to improve existing situations.
• Carries out other similar or related duties such as handling of Operations Manager duties upon delegation, attending departmental meetings, serving on company assigned project task force, making professional presentation to management regarding study or providing practical findings on project progress.
• Ensures full participation in "Eureka" and encourages the shift workers to drive better participation.
• Complies with CAMEL (Continuous Awareness Must Eliminate Losses) process requirements. Ensures reporting of every shift personnel are within the required target. Guides colleagues to improve the quality of CAMEL observations being reported.
