Basically the skeptics have provided no evidence of anything but the
old belief that dowsing is snake-oil and anything that finds period, is
a scam. Time-wasters.

As well Fyngal they have dismissed all LRLing as dowsing which it
isn't. The only forms of LRL that work on dowsing are the pendulum and
rods that are held deliberately to use divination not rods used with
MFDS and LRLing generally, which is commonly known as dowsing in error.
If they set out to be Houdinis exposing mediums they have quickly
realised there are no mediums for the exposing. They can't now go back
on their erroneous conclusions this far down the track though so they
are in denial, kidding themselves that LRLs are dowsing which is really
divination. Maybe we should be a little gentler with them so they won't
feel their confessions will be met with such punishing opposition.

But then they will stoop to more ridiculous and deliberate identity bs
and conceptual bs and bs re basic advertising whch is not of course
scamming. However you may have a point.

Watching telly last week re a chap in Australia who found a 51 ounce
nugget worth about $80,000USD. He of course wished to remain anon since
"he was a gold
prospector."

Interesting thing is that that very day another prospector found an
even bigger one almost worth twice as much.

I read that myself. There are great concentrations of value still
awaiting discovery. You've just got to forget your skeptical
propaganda and use your detector (any kind) as often as you can. I like

to think an LRL brings the odds down from thousands to hundreds even
tens to one. A good LRLer would laugh and tell you to go to a gold
stream with say an Examiner and just scoop up the sand. Forget
wet-panning.
The odds will then be that you will not miss using the LRL to pinpoint
the sand in the waterless pan.

I did this last weekend with one and ...no problem. All I need now is a

loaded stream.
