Greetings everyone.
Hope the change from 2008 to 2009 went well for all concerned.
Things are looking good at AltSpace. The wifi laser printer is on order, the coffee plunger and fresh beans are in high use and the data projector is all ready for projecting data.
The key thing about coworking is the concept of community and also corporate social responsibility. Based on that a new membership plan has been created called 'Community' and it joins the existing 'Nomad' and 'Resident' plans. This plan is near identical to the Resident plan but for the cost. It is half the price. This is for those people that work for a community group or not for profit that has a focus of improving the lives of people, in NZ or anywhere in the world. Details will be on the revised membership agreement in the next few days.
In 2009 things have got more active with a steady stream of interest in membership plans. I have enjoyed the last 5 months since AltSpace opened its doors in August and expect it to be even better in the next six months.
