Altshul regularly meets at Beth Elohim in the chapel at 10:00am for Shabbat morning services. Location is CBE, 274 Garfield Place. Kindershul starts at the beginning of the Torah service. View the extended Altshul Minyan calendar.

• The Intergenerational Beit-Midrash is back!
  Larry Magarik is teaching five sessions on Darchei Tefilah. Expect hevruta and shuir focusing on the meaning (rather than mechanics) of prayer. There are three learning sessions remaining, and they will be held after Kiddush in the Chapel at 1:15 pm on March 14, April 25, and May 9. 
  The source materials for the next study session after services March 14, 2020 will be Hasidic Koans on Tefilah.
  Serious learners of all ages are welcome!  (Generally 10-years old and up has been most successful.)

• B'nei Mitzvah Tutoring
  If you are available for b'nei mitzvah tutoring and would like your name included on a community list to be accessed by the Park Slope/Prospect Heights/Crown Heights communities, please fill out this form.  We will put together a list to share with families in the Luria, PHS, CKI, Altshul communities.  Tutors will set their own rates and make arrangements directly with families.

• Save the date for CBE's Community Art Show! 
  April 17-April 19th will be a weekend of art, music, conversation, wine, cheese, and more! Attendance is free.
  Interested in showing your work? Just let us know! Indicate your interest now, and give us specifics later. We welcome artists working in a variety of mediums. Past shows have included sculpture, painting, quilting, photography, assemblage and printmaking. Meet other artists and share your work with the larger CBE community! • Daf Yomi Siyum & Chulent competition to celebrate women's torah learning
  Next Friday night (March 6) at PHS, 5:30 to 9 PM, includes kabbalat shabbat, drash, dinner, and learning discussions. 
  PHS is also seeking volunteers who are women who are doing the daf and would like to lead small learning groups following the chulent competition to share some insights from the masechet brachot.
