Prajna Room Parents - Volunteers

Jai Srimannarayana,

As announced during Prajna, we are looking for parents who would like to serve as room parents for their child's Module.  

Room parents have three primary duties:  

1.  To ensure that the Module classroom they represent is well maintained.  We request that you check your assigned classroom prior to and after Prajna classes to ensure that cleanliness is maintained.

2.  Assist the teachers for your Module with cultural events that are being presented by the Module.  One example is the Prajna Graduation Ceremony in the Spring.  Each class generally presents an item on stage - this will involve assisting with practice schedules, costumes, etc. 

3.  Working with other Prajna room parents and your Module teachers in continuing to enhance the Prajna experience through classroom/Temple activities.  This includes the student and parent 

  We are looking at four Room Parents per Module so that parents can complete #1 above on a once a month rotational schedule.
