When installing Windows Multi User Interface (MUI) language packs from Microsoft on non-supported Vista OS's, chances are Microsoft Update will fail for many updates.

This is due to the fact that Windows Update still is using the original language (English), not your newly installed language.

To solve this, simple follow these instructions (FROM: http://www.froggie.sk/help.html - Vistalizator):

Issues when using a language installed in Internal mode

Internal languages are installed by the integrated Windows language pack installer.
Some Windows updates that affect multiple languages have to be reinstalled.

Windows Update does not work or its Control Panel item remains untranslated.
Reinstall Windows Update Agent, this will update new Internal languages.
Download the latest Windows Update Agent for 32-bit Windows (6.46 MB, v7.4.7600.226)
Download the latest Windows Update Agent for 64-bit Windows (7.39 MB, v7.4.7600.226)
Download the latest Windows Update Agent for 32-bit Windows (5.92 MB, v7.2.6001.788)
Download the latest Windows Update Agent for 64-bit Windows (6.71 MB, v7.2.6001.788)

Peace!
