We're looking for a motivated individual to join our development team
to perform QA; there will be a manual component to this, but it is
hoped that you will automate as much as you possibly can using tools
like Selenium/WatiN.
Are you interested in helping us ensure that our internet-TV suite of
products is the best in the world?
Are you creative?
Are you capable of independent thought and initiative?
Would you be capable of vetoing a release if it did not meet quality
requirements? You would get one of four votes, and be the second one
that needs to pass.
Would you be capable of working with non-technical business people in
order to define those quality and acceptance requirements?
Do you cringe inwardly at the prospect of manual testing, and yearn to
automate all the keystrokes needed to fill in a web form?
Do you take a sadistic glee at making developers cry, using the excuse
of needing to deliver a quality, working product? Do you take pride
in that same product's quality?
Do you know what a good bug report consists of, and know how to arrive
at that?
If the answer is yes to most of the above questions, and you can work
full-time, onsite, in Battersea, London, UK, please review the
attached job spec (shortly; "Narrowstep Software Engineer In Test
200806.doc" in the files section of the group) and send a response
including your CV/resume to
car...@narrowstep.com.
